The Nacogdoches Community Band will share a delightful collection of music at their spring concert on Sunday, May 5, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this free event, and bring your family and friends! The band includes members of the wider community, as well as SFA music students. Musicians who might be interested in joining the band are especially invited to attend.
Please join the band on May 5 at 4:00 p.m. at the SFA Band Hall (room 121).
The performance will highlight American composers, including Aaron Copeland, John Philips Sousa and Frank Ticheli. Pieces will include American Riversongs, selections from Four Shaker Songs, and the Liberty Bell march.
The band is under the direction of Mr. Justin Allen, M.M., and recent SFA graduate.

The fun and fabulous (and annual) Kid Fish tournament will be held at Lakeside Park on January 25, 2014 (Saturday). This is a fun time for friends and families to get together for a day outside. The weather is predicted to be in the 60s and only 20% of chance of rain (as of 1/17), so it should be a great day for this event.
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
